Blechexpo 2025
The 2025 edition of Blechexpo will be held between 21.10.2025 and 24.10.2025. The trade fair will take place at Messe Stuttgart as a face-to-face event. The venue will not feature the latest COVID-19 prevention measures due to the removal of the country's pandemic-related restrictions.

Proceedings are held at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany, and editions roll out every two years, sharing space with Schweisstec. The organiser of Blechexpo is P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG and programming runs over the course of four days. In terms of working hours, visitors have access to the exhibition halls from 09:00 am in the morning until 17:00 pm in the afternoon.
Blechexpo, which was known as Südblech at the year of its foundation, prides itself as a source of innovation, but also research and education for metal working. One of the biggest incentives for the latter is the coveted Blechexpo Award and one of the biggest highlights is the forum program, which has invited the biggest specialists in the field today to give talks on the next generation of technology. There’s also cross-market potential for exhibitors with the co-held Schweisstec.
Blechexpo 2021
The 2021 edition of Blechexpo took place as a face-to-face event between 26.10.2021 and 29.10.2021. The live exhibition occurred at Messe Stuttgart and coincided with Schweisstec. The venue featured the latest Covid-19 prevention measures to ensure that attendees could conduct business in complete safety. Among the implemented measures was a social distancing regulation as well as a 3G entry policy. Attendees needed to maintain a social distance of 1.5 metres between one another. They also needed to show negative test results, recovery, or immunisation before entering the fair. This included the 953 exhibitors that attended the 2021 edition.
Blechexpo 2023
The 2023 edition of Blechexpo was a live trade fair hosyted in Messe Suttgart between 07.11.2023 and 10.11.2023. Due to Germany removing its pandemic-related restrictions, the venue did not feature Covid-19 safety measures. Over 1,200 exhibitors from 38 countries attended the event.
