Organisers have announced IDS 2023 will take place as a face-to-face exhibition in March.  The physical edition has been confirmed for the four days between March 14th and March 18th. The exhibition grounds, Koelnmesse, will employ thorough sanitation and protective measures.

Dental professionals are now preparing for an international trade show that’s a cornerstone for the odontology sector – IDS. IDS stands for the International Dental Show and is one of the leaders in the dental sector on a global scale.

One of the reasons for the event’s importance is its longevity as IDS enjoys a historic legacy, having first come onto the scene in 1923 at the advent of modern dentistry. Now the trade fair serves as a meeting point between supply and demand as well as a source for innovation, new research and further professional training.

The product portfolio offers much to buyers – oral hygiene, pharmaceuticals, practical furniture, dental aesthetics, dental drills, dental hygiene, auxiliary materials for dental purposes, cleaners, prophylaxis and retention aids.

IDS arrives in Cologne, Germany every two years and editions are usually held for a five days in total around March. The international trade fair is organised aby GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dentalindustrie mbH in conjunction with Koelnmesse, which also serves as the host venue.

Admittance is given only to professional visitors. Working hours are from 09:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. Koelnmesse enjoys a central location in Cologne, which makes it easy to reach from all points in the city. The easiest would be by car, but there are many public transport options. Catch the city rail S-Bahn lines S6, S11, S12, S13. You have tram and metro lines as well as the addition for several shuttle bus services as well.
