Editions are spaced out every two years and are organised by Koelnmesse GmbH, which also doubles as the event’s venue. Trade visitors are welcome from 10:00 in the morning till 06:00 in the afternoon. Exhibitors have an additional hour before doors open to set up and after the end of the day.

Anuga 2021
The 2021 edition of Anuga once again served its role as the leading global F&B industry meeting hub. The edition despite the ongoing pandemic received more than 70 000 visitors and more than 4600 exhibitors. Such high attendance number demonstrated the importance of conducting face-to-face meetings. Anuga's 2021 edition took place as a hybrid event - a face-to-face exhibition complemented by a digital platform. The exhibition took place at Messe Cologne with strict COVID-19 safety measures in place. According to participants the edition was a success which prompted organisers to proceed with the organisation of Anuga 2023.
Anuga 2023
Anuga 2023 took place as a live trade fair between 07.10.2025 and 11.10.2025 in Messe Cologne. The event did not feature Covid-19 safety measures due to the removal of the country's pandemic-related restrictions. It was attended by approximately 7,900 exhibitors from 118 nations and around 140,000 visitors from 200 countries. 94% of the exhibiting and 80% of the visiting were from abroad.
