Seafood Expo Global and Covid-19

Diversified Communications has officially cancelled Seafood Expo Global 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Initially, the event was meant to take place in September. There still is considerable uncertainty about hosting significant trade shows in person. The next in-person edition has been postponed for a year by the event planners. April 26th–28th, 2022 has been set as the official dates. A significant amount of changes will take place for the hosting of Seafood Expo Global 2022. The relocation from Brussels to Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, is the most significant change that will take place. Attendees can expect the best COVID-19 security measures to be implemented at the expo centre.

Seafood Expo Global gives visitors unparalleled access to the global seafood market thanks to its impressive number of exhibitors and the breadth of the products of its product portfolio. Speaking of product categories, exhibitors showcase fresh fish and seafood, frozen fish and seafood, value-added seafood, freight forwarders, logistical services, processing and packaging equipment.

  • There’s a strong possibility for cross sales as the trade fair shares a stage with SEAFOOD PROCESSING GLOBAL.
  • It’s good business – a look at the attendance rate reveals nearly 30,000 trade visitors, and that’s not something to ignore.
  • The trade fair examines trends in a variety of international markets, as there are more than 70 national and regional country pavilions.

The international trade fair, formerly known as Brussels Seafood Show, lasts for three days sometime around late spring in Brussels, Belgium. Brussels Expo serves as the host venue and Diversified Communications UK. The doors open to trade visitors from 10:00 am and close at 18:00 pm. The last day makes for a special exception, with closing hours scheduled for 16:00 pm.

Audience and statistics

Seafood Expo Global enjoys a strong reputation among international markets, as can be attested by the 70 National and Regional Country Pavilions present at every edition. The trade fair also shares the stage with the specialized Seafood Processing Global, which creates the perfect synergy for business opportunities.

Exhibitors have extra incentive to attend as they’re able to diversify their revenue stream through meeting with hospitals, bars, fast food chains, importers and exporters, distributors, hotels, cruise lines, resorts, restaurants, wholesalers, airlines, and caterers.
