Tube takes place every two years in Düsseldorf, Germany. Editions run for a total of five days at the start of spring – this is usually at the end of March and beginning of April. Tube shares a stage at Messe Dusseldorf with another specialized trade fair for components, Wire. Both events fall on even years and offer access to trade visitors only. Messe Düsseldorf GmbH serves as the official organiser as well with generous support from the International Tube Association (ITA).
The day’s events are scheduled between 09:00 am in the morning and 18:00 in the afternoon. The exception is the last day, which wraps up earlier at 16:30 pm. Do you need to rent a car to make it to the exhibition grounds? No. Messe Düsseldorf presents visitors with access to the tram and bus service – a convenient and efficient way to commute every day.
Tube always generates significant business and organisers reveal that there is 97% satisfaction rate among trade visitors. The attendance numbers are also very satisfying.
Last edition saw more than 1200 international exhibitors and nearly 30,000 trade visitors, which makes for the perfect visibility for your brand. Visitors come from all over the world to make purchases and establish partnerships with the majority coming from big European markets like Italy, France, Spain, and Austria.
But we also want to highlight the growing involvement of markets in the East such as India, South Korea, Taiwan and China. As far as professional backgrounds go, the audience is diverse as buyers come from a variety of industries – automotive, chemical, energy, electrical, iron and construction.
Tube 2022

The edition received 1,822 exhibitors from over 50 countries. Tube 2022 featured high statistics. This included 70% of the attending, confirming their presence for the next rendition. An analogical number of visitors also travelled abroad to visit the restart editions. This resulted in the fairs featuring attendees from 140 nations, with 75% of them being decision-making executives. Wire and Tube 2022 featured a total exhibition space of 93,000 m2.
Tube 2024
Tube and Wire 2024 took place as live trade fairs between 15.04.2024 and 19.04.2024. They received over 2,700 exhibitors from 65 nations. The event space spanned more than 119,000 m2.
What Are People Saying?
“It is a privilege to take part at the show. It is the biggest fair in the world and every year it is like refreshing yourself with the latest updates in the business. This year, we also focus on American and Australian contacts,” – Sunil Shewaramani, K.D Industries Inc., General Manager, United Arab Emirates;
“It is very busy, but we didn't expect anything else. We participate at the Tube for years and the fair is extremely well organized as we are used to. It seems to me that there is much to catch up with in terms of industrial production in this region and hopefully we will benefit from that,” – Gerhard Berger, SSC Anlagenbau GmbH, Senior Consultant, Austria;
“In general we meet existing and potential customers. Especially for international contacts the Tube is perfect. We make more than 60% in sales outside of Europe, so the international aspect of the Tube is very important for us,” – Jörg Busch, IMS Messsysteme GmbH, General Manager Global Sales & Project, Rohrmesssysteme, Deutschland.
