Covid Update

Professionals in the automation and robotics industry can look forward to automatica 2022 starting June 21st to June 24th at Messe Munich. Organisers have reworked the concept of edition in order to secure attendees health and safety during the coronavirus pandemic. The event will take place as a live exhibition and will feature COVID-19 safety measures such as a 3G entry policy.

Automatica is the superior exhibition for automation technology that doesn’t just present what’s newest on the market. It dictates what’s coming next and actively shapes the industry. It was first held in 2004 just as automation became a primary force in how manufacturing and many other sectors would evolve. Automatica wouldn’t be the visionary tech exhibition without its broad technological categories. All key sectors are represented - assembly and handling technology, industrial robots, professional service robotics, machine vision, positioning systems, drive technology, sensor technology and so many more others. It’s also worth notice that visitors have access to a superior support programme that’s led by the biggest names in the industry. Whatever you learn here, you won’t hear anywhere else, which makes automatica essential.

Automatica is brought to you by Messe München GmbH. The international exhibition is held at Messe München every two years and is co-located with analytica and ceramitec, which creates a strong synergy between all events. Editions run for four days in June. Admission is given only to trade visitors. Work hours are set for 09:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon for the first three days. Closing day wraps up two hours early at 16:00. Navigating Munich to reach the gates of Messe München is so simple thanks to its excellent location and public transport service. The airport connects to the exhibition centre via the suburban train lines S1 and S8. During exhibitions and trade shows there’s even a shuttle bus driving directly to the grounds. There’s also a metro line that connects you to the central station and several buses that service the rest of the city.

• “Our digital enterprise portfolio fits ideally to the automatica motto ‘Optimize your Production’. Siemens provides end-to-end software and hardware solutions, with which the entire value chain can be integrated and digitalized.
