Bazaar Berlin & COVID

Current plans are underway for Bazaar Berlin 2022 and organisers are excited to host another live edition to great success. The reception to the first physical trade fair since the start of the pandemic in 2021 has been very positive. The industry is looking forward to heal and improve. The official dates are set for November 2nd – November 6th, 2022. The Expo Center City in Berlin will follow strict COVID-19 regulations. The hygiene concept is based on the three principles – distance, contact tracing and disinfection. All attendees are required to wear masks and disinfect their hands regularly. There’s also a no-handshake policy in place, which will be firmly enforced.

Bazaar Berlin is a long-standing event in Berlin’s social calendar as it’s been going since 1962. In those sixty years, the international trade fair has made millions in product sales and shown people the latest design trends live. Bazaar Berlin has the distinguished honour of being Germany's most international sales fair for consumer products and home goods. Foreign brands have the best bet to make a name for themselves and establish long-term partnerships. Product launches are the bread and butter at Bazaar Berlin, which is quite business oriented. The exhibition space fills up quality handicraft, jewellery, accessories, clothing, design products, home textiles, organic and ecological products, natural cosmetics, wellness products, season’s products, decoration items and gifts, leather goods, hand bags, shoes, small furniture, rugs, porcelain, and toys.

Bazaar Berlin is brought to you every year by Messe Berlin GmbH. The international trade fair is traditionally held over the course of four says in early November and is one of the biggest events to take place in Berlin, Germany. The Expo Center City welcomes guests from 10:00 am in the morning until 19:00 in the evening from Wednesday to Sunday. Tickets are available to both the general public and trade visitors alike. The Expo Center City has limited parking so it’s best to use public transport to reach it. It’s a good thing it has an excellent location and regular service. You can take the S41, S42 and S46 of the S-Bahn or the X34, X49, M49, 104 and 349 bus lines. The fastest way through is to take the underground, which stops at Kaiserdamm and Theodor-Heuss-Platz.

What Are People Saying?

• “We are happy to finally be back at Bazaar Berlin. We have already been visited by loyal regular customers at the booth and we are also happy to welcome new customers,” – Newa Sahayog von Tee, Nepal;

• “We feel privileged to be able to exhibit at Bazaar Berlin this year. Because you have to remember that we are in a special situation with the Covid 19 pandemic. Bazaar Berlin is the first trade show we have exhibited at since the pandemic started. We come all the way from Nepal to be here. The fair is of course smaller than in previous years, but the atmosphere is as comfortable and pleasant as ever. It also gives a bit of self-confidence back to exhibitors and visitors alike,” – Amer Lal Shrestha von Superior Arts & Handicraft;
