CMS Berlin is the driving force behind business trends and technological innovations in cleaning systems, building management and services on a European level. At the same time, CMS Berlin has maintained a very involved support program since 1984. Because of the pandemic, the trade fair has shifted to a hybrid model with the introduction of CMS PLUS. This is a digital extension of the main trade fair that’s there to help with further networking.
CMS BERLIN 2025
CMS BERLIN's 2025 edition will be hosted as a live trade fair between 23.09.2025 and 26.09.2025 in Messe Berlin. The hosting site will not include Covid-19 safety measures. This is because Germany has removed its pandemic-related restrictions.

CMS Berlin exists thanks to the coordinated efforts of Messe Berlin, which is also the designated host for the trade fair, the National Guild Association of the Building Cleaning Trade (BIV) and the Cleaning Systems Trade Association in the VDMA. The international trade fair is open for all trade visitors and editions are spaced every two years in mid-September. Programming runs for a total of four days. Work hours are set for 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Be sure to check the start times for individual events during CMS Berlin. The locale sits in an ideal location in one of Berlin’s busiest areas. This means there are a lot of public transport lines, which can efficiently take you there. The underground railway stops at Kaiserdamm and Theodor-Heuss-Platz. You also have the light rail system and several bus lines at your disposal.

CMS Berlin is expected to grow in importance and size due to the pandemic and the new demands for better, improved cleaning solutions. The trade fair has always been essential for trade visitors involved with commercial cleaning, public contractors, hotel and catering services, healthcare, mobility and industrial companies. From hotels, restaurants, government agencies, shipyards and clinics, everyone needs good sanitation and disinfection. It’s why attendance has been so good and steadily rising over the years. Last edition displayed products from 448 exhibitors, out of which 120 were international and represented 25 countries. The audience reached 20,000 people, who flew in from a total of 80 countries. This creates a perfect opportunity for exhibitors to penetrate international markets all over Europe and come in contact with interested buyers from EU, other European countries, the Middle East and the Far East. Trade visitors all have some influence when it comes to making purchases whether it’s decisive, co-decisive or advisory.
CMS Berlin 2023
The 2023 edition of CMS Berlin took place as a live trade fair in Messe Berlin between the dates 19.09.2023 and 22.09.2023. The event was hosted on 31 000 m2. It featured approximately 21,000 visitors and 421 exhibitors from 25 countries.
