Found in 1979, METEC alongside GIFA, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST has been instrumental in pushing the envelope in terms new standards and practices in metallurgy and heavy industry. METEC 2027

METEC takes large break between editions. Editions are held in Dusseldorf, Germany every four years and last for five days in total. Messe Düsseldorf GmbH serves as the venue and the official organiser with the generous support of the VDMA, one of Germany’s biggest industry associations for machine construction. Working hours are scheduled between 09:00 am until 18:00 pm for the first four days. The final day concludes two hours earlier at 16:00 pm. Bright World of Metals 2023 (comprising GIFA, METEC, NEWCAST and THERMPROCESS 2023) occurred as a live trade fair at Messe Düsseldorf. The event was held between 12.06.2023 and 16.06.2023. It was attended by 63,300 visitors from 114 countries and approximately 2,200 exhibitors from 56 nations. Of the visitor group, 58% were decision-makers, 69% had travelled from abroad, and 78% had concrete investing plans. 76% of the exhibitors were from a foreign country.
