First held in 2011, Texprocess is the leading international trade fair for processing textile and other flexible materials. It takes place in parallel with Techtextil – an international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens. Both together, they provide access to cutting-edge technology and the fair actively works towards sustainable solutions in the fashion and textile industries. Texprocess takes place in the summer and creates the biggest moment in the text processing sector at the end of June alongside another popular international trade fair – Techtextil. Editions typically last for four days and take place at Messe Frankfurt. They’re hosted once every two years by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and admission is given only to trade visitors. Be sure to check opening and closing times ahead of your arrival, because editions vary from year to year. Don’t have a car to drive to the exhibition grounds? Not to worry. Messe Frankfurt is well situated in a lively part of the city. Access to public transport is plentiful. You’ve two regular tram lines (16 & 17) that service the centre. Of course, we have to mention the metro service and the suburban train lines. You can ride the S3, S4 & S6 lines at regular intervals.
VDMA Fachverband Textile Care, Fabric & Leather Technologies is the major partner that brings Texprocess to life. There are other sponsors such as JASMA, EURATEX, spesa and DTB among others. Editions typically feature the products of over 300 international exhibitors. Together with Techtextil, Texprocess enjoys a sizeable audience of over 26,000 trade visitors, who come from 96 countries. Over 60% of all visitors come are foreign nationals and their main reasons for taking part are viewing innovations, expanding specialist knowledge, getting to know product variants and making new business connections. Alongside well-developed European markets like France, Italy, and the Netherlands, visitors came from the USA, Pakistan, China, South Korea and Columbia. In their professional roles, visitors come from manufacture, production, management, sales, research and development, and distribution. Texprocess 2022
Texprocess was co-located with Heimtextil's one-time Summer Edition and Techtextil Frankfurt's 2022 edition. The three hybrid trade shows symbolised the global textile industry's successful relaunch. They included a digital extension as well as a live fair. The live sections of the fairs were held at Messe Frankfurt between the 21st and 24th of June 2022. They received around 63,000 attendees and 2,300 exhibitors from 117 countries.
Texprocess 2024
Texprocess 2024 coincided with Techtextil Frankfurt 2024. The events took place as live trade fairs between 23.04.224 and 26.04.2024. They were visited by 38,000 visitors from 102 countries and 1,700 exhibitors from 53 nations. This represented a 29% increase in visitors attendance. 75% of them were top-tier executives and 95% were pleased with their attendance.
