Automechanika Johannesburg 2024

Automechanika Johannesburg is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is part of the major tree of Automechanika events with 17 satellite events around the world. This satellite events is put together by the Messe Frankfurt South Africa (Pty) Ltd. in partnership with Messe Frankfurt and it is co-located with futuroad expo Johannesburg. Both events are held once every two years at the start of June. The JHB Johannesburg Expo Centre is where the trade fair takes place and doors are open only to automotive professionals. The work hours are set for 09:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon, though hours may vary. Be sure to check ahead of time. How do you get to the Automechanika Johannesburg exhibition grounds? The JHB Johannesburg Expo Centre enjoys a central location in the city, which means there are bus lines that get you there. The Rea Vaya and Gautrain Bus systems are also viable options.

Automechanika Johannesburg is a high earner and any investment in exhibiting is more than worth it. Last edition saw more than 14,000 overall trade visitors with 426 visitors coming from African countries. It’s a sizeable audience considering that 630 companies overtook the exhibition halls. There were 9 country pavilions and 28 exhibiting countries. The audience was even more diverse with professionals coming from as far as the USA, Japan, China, Germany, Niger, South Africa, Sudan, Mozambique, Canada and Hong Kong. Altogether they generated over 140 B2B meetings. The conference programme also registered over 1500 delegates. Visitors come from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds – retailers, franchises, car repair shops, service stations, car trading, public authorities, fleet management, car manufacturing, garage equipment and tools, dealerships and universities.

Automechanika Johannesburg 2022

The 2022 edition of Automechanika Johannesburg signified the outstanding restart of the event and of South Africa's automotive industry and the aftermarket sector. The rendition took place at the JHB Johannesburg Expo Centre as a live event. It was held for four days between 07.06.2022 and 10.06.2022. On an event space of over 8,600 m2, 191 exhibitors presented their wares to 5,488 visitors from 13 nations.

Automechanika Johannesburg 2023 took place as a live trade show between 05.09.2023 and 07.09.2023 in Johannesburg Expo Center. The event was attended by over 400 exhibitors. Among them was Daimler Tuck South Africa.
