Essen Motor Show is an international trade fair for the automobile and motor sports industries. With more than 550 exhibitors from around the world and about 352,000 visitors from more than 38 countries, the show is one of the world’s largest and most influential events in its field. It receives a growing number of major manufacturers like BMW, Citroën Motorsport, Ford, Peugeot, Opel, Renault Motorsport, Skoda, Mercedes-Benz. The Essen Motor Show is held in Essen, Germany and is organised annually. The motor trade fair in Essen features five segments: Sporty series vehicles, Motor sports, Tuning, Classic cars, and Motorcycles.

Messe Essen will host the 57th edition of the Essen Motor Show as a live event. Germany's largest motor show will take place between 29.11.2025 and 07.12.2025 with a preview day on 28.11.2025.

ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2021
Between November 26th and December 5th, 2021 the special edition of the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW took place. The format of the event was face-to-face, with strict COVID-19 prevention measures in place. Among the implemented safety measures was a strict 3G entry policy. This included attendees having to show vaccination passports, negative test results or proof of recovery before entering the venue. The edition received, despite the ongoing pandemic, around 100,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors.
ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2022
The 2022 rendition of ESSEN MOTOR SHOW took place as a face-to-face trade fair between 03.12.2022 and 11.12.2022. It was held in Messe Cologne, with the venue not featuring Covid-19 safety measures due to the removal of the country's pandemic-related restrictions. Over 200,000 visitors and around 500 exhibitors from 13 countries attended the event.
ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2023
The 2023 edition of the Essen Motor Show likewise featured over 200,000 visitors and approximately 500 exhibitors. It was held between 01.12.2023 and 10.12.2023. 96% of the exhibiting group were satisfied with the attending number of visitants, and 95% were able to reach all or most of their target groups. Similarly, 93% were pleased with their participation, and 94% will take part in the next edition.

Essen Motor Show 2024 took place as a live trade fair in Messe Essen between the dates of 29.11.2024 and 08.12.2024. The event was attended by the same number of attendees as the previous format. This included approximately 500 exhibitors and more than 200,000 visitors.
