Fensterbau Frontale is one of the most significant international trade fairs for windows, facades, doors, and their associated technologies and solutions on a global level. The trade fair officially began in 1988 but has deeper roots in post-war Germany when the procurement of materials, tools, and machinery for window manufacturers was scarce.
Fensterbau Frontale exists as an industry leader and a major procurement platform. The product portfolio is broken into five major categories – glass (window panes, glass products), hardware (doors and safety equipment), machines (manufacturing machinery and tools), profile (elements, semifinished products, materials, and components) and technical information.

Fensterbau Frontale is an official trade fair organised by NürnbergMesse GmbH and held at their exhibition grounds in Nuremberg, Germany. Editions have been on a steady biennial rotation and fall on even years. Three of influential professional associations in Germany sponsor the trade fair. These are Fachverband Glas Fenster Fassade Baden-Württemberg, Landesinnungsverband des Glaserhandwerks Rheinland-Pfalz and Landesinnungsverband des Bayerischen Glaserhandwerks.
Editions usually take place around March and last for four days in total. Messe Nuremberg admits visitors from 10:00 am until 18:00 pm, with the last day concluding at 17:00 pm. The exhibition grounds are located relatively close to the centre and enjoy adequate connections to public transport, with several bus lines and a metro station within walking distance.

Fensterbau Frontale 2022
Frontale Fensterbau and Holz-Handwerk 2022 were tremendous achievements. They celebrated the jubilant reunion of the relevant industries. This exemplified the importance of live trade exhibitions in the sectors. They also revitalised the trade exhibitions as prime networking venues. The events received 708 exhibitors from 33 countries and more than 28,500 visitors from over 100 countries. Exhibitors lauded the outstanding calibre of trade visitors. A large portion of those who attended were decision-makers with specific buying objectives. The Fensterbau Frontale Forum was held again in the 2022 edition of Fensterbau Frontale. The Forum included talks, panel discussions, and other types of sessions. It concentrated on new developments and best practises for windows, doors, and facades. This allowed experts to exchange knowledge and ideas.
Fensterbau Frontale 2024
The 2024 edition of Fensterbau Frontale was a live trade fair that featured over 650 exhibitors from 42 countries and approximately 75,000 visitors. It took place in Messe Nuremberg between 19.03.2024 and 22.03.2024 and coincided with Holz-Handwerk 2024.
