Established in 1960, Formex is a trade fair that targets interior design produced in Scandinavia. It is safe to say that the event is the largest event of its kind for the Nordic region and function as a taste maker, where the newest Nordic design trends are first announced and then are ready to take on the rest of the world. As popular and desired as Nordic design is all over the world, there’s no better place to position your products. The product portfolio is extensive and sees everything from painting, furniture, organic and fair trade products to clothing, jewelry, lamps, decorative items, children's clothing, stuffed animals and toys.
Formex lasts for about four days and is held annually in Stockholm, Sweden. Because designs are quick to change for the interior sector, editions take place twice a year. First in January to mark the start of the year and then in August. Stockholmsmässan AB performs a dual function as both the organiser and the official host. Visitors are admitted every day from 09:30 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. Exception is the last day, which wraps up at 17:00 pm. You will be happy to know that Stockholmsmässan enjoys many connections to the city’s infrastructure. Aside from being easy to reach with a car, there are bus lines and commuter trains that stop at the Älvsjö Station, which is next to the exhibition centre.

Audience & Statistics
Driving sales is one of the biggest reasons why Formex exists in the first place. It’s a platform for the introduction of supply to demand and it has been highly successful.
