Intersolar Europe & Covid-19

Intersolar Europe 2023 along with ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe will run from June 14th until June 16th, 2023. Organisers have stated that they will encourage participants to follow several recommendations pertaining to Covid-19 during their attendance at Messe Munich. The venue will not have a strict safety plan in place due to the removal of such domestic restrictions throughout Germany in April 2022. The recommendations will include:

  • Participants will be advised to maintain a social distance of 1.5 metres.
  • They should also perform regular hand hygiene using the provided disinfectant dispensers.
  • Attendees should wear face masks in indoor areas such as the meeting rooms.

Due to Germany's instated travel restrictions, participants will have to present upon arrival in the country 3G entry documents. Such include proof of recovery or immunisation passports.

Introduction

INTERSOLAR EUROPE offers a full look into the future of the solar industry and environmental protection. The international exhibition is the biggest platform for companies to debut innovative, groundbreaking technologies and solutions as well as conduct high-level business negotiations.

The product portfolio has grown to include photovoltaics, PV production technologies, energy storage systems, solar power plants, solar thermal technologies and renewable heating.

Editions have been running successfully since 1991 in Pforzheim, just as the solar industry was picking up steam. The turnover has been so great that organisers have introduced satellite events to São Paulo, San Francisco, Mumbai and Beijing. INTERSOLAR EUROPE also conducts important and often difficult conversations about subjects like climate change. Last edition discussed the concerns re climate change and electricity shortage.

Logistics

INTERSOLAR EUROPE happens every year at the start of summer in Munich, Germany. Editions run for a total of three days sometime in June and shares the stage with automatica – the trade fair dedicated to automation and robotics. Solar Promotion GmbH and Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG are joint organisers of the international exhibition, which takes place at Messe Munich.

Doors open only to professional visitors and working hours are from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm. The last day wraps up only an hour earlier at 17:00 pm. Messe Munich has numerous connections to the city’s infrastructure, and the centre offers a lot of parking spaces for commuters. In terms of public transport, you can choose between a metro line and suburban trains.

What You Can Expect as an Exhibitor
