ISH follows a biennial schedule, where editions fall on odd years. Each edition lasts for five days in total and runs during the month of March. Frankfurt, Germany is the host city for the trade show and Messe Frankfurt is the official organiser of ISH along with the partnership of many German professional organisations and associations. BDH, ZVSHK and FGK are among the sponsors of the event.
Only trade visitors are admitted and working hours begin at 09:00 am in the morning up until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. ISH 2023
ISH 2023 represented the event's triumphant return following a pandemic-induced pause of several years. The event was hosted, as a hybrid event, in Messe Frankfurt between 13.03.2023 and 17.03.2023. It was attended by 2,025 exhibitors from 54 countries and 153,734 visitors from 154 nations. 72% of the exhibiting and 44% of the visiting group were from a foreign country. 94% of the visitors had accomplished their business goals, and 96% were pleased with the range of exhibited wares. 52% of the visitors consider the sector's economic situation will improve.
ISH 2025
The 2025 edition of ISH took place as a live trade fair between 15.03.2025 and 19.03.2025 in Messe Frankfurt. The event was attended by 2,183 exhibitors from 54 countries, 436 speakers, and 163,157 visitors. 72% of the exhibitors were from abroad. 94% of the visitors were satisfied with the event and 96% rated the wares of the exhibitors as excellent.
