Intertraffic Amsterdam is a brand that’s recognised worldwide and has been the driving engine for innovation and new concepts in traffic infrastructure, traffic management, road safety and parking. The international exhibition was first held in 1972 and since then has managed to grow so large and influential that it has spread to new locations. Satellite events exist in Mexico City, Jakarta, Istanbul and Beijing.
Intertraffic Amsterdam exists with a dual purpose to connect players in the industry and facilitate business, and then to form trends and discuss industry news through an involved seminar programme. Subjects have been varied and always on the pulse of what’s currently happening in the world such as the new trend of e-scooters and the logistical problems they create for create for pedestrians. The exhibition portion is organised around five main themes – infrastructure, road safety, parking, smart mobility and traffic managements.
Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024
The 2024 edition of Intertraffic Amsterdam will be driving the future of mobility, with no expected delays from 16.04.2024 to 19.04.2024. The world’s leading trade fair for global mobility will be taking place at the Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam, the Netherlands as a face-to-face event. Currently, the country does not have travel; restrictions or event venue Covid-19 safety measures in place. However, participants are highly encouraged to practice regular hand sanitation and disinfection, as well as to following the coughing etiquette.

Amsterdam, Netherlands welcomes Intertraffic Amsterdam every two years for the duration of four days in total. Editions fall on even years and are held usually in the second half of April. The Amsterdam RAI is both the official organiser and venue for the event, which will share the stage with i&CDrive that services cooperative mobility components and systems manufacturers and service providers.
Doors are open to professional visitors only and working hours are from 10:00 am in the morning until 17:00 pm in the afternoon, but please check in with the official programme in advance. Amsterdam RAI is in an easy-enough location to reach with public transport and in some cases, it might be an option to walk to it, rent a bike or grab one of the many electric scooters found everywhere in the city.

The 2018 edition hit excellent numbers with 879 international exhibitors from 47 countries directly showcasing to 32,000+ trade visitors from 134 countries.
The conference alone registered 8000 attendees, so you’re in for a fruitful experience whether you’re pursuing sales leads or to partake in the conference programme. Trade visitors came from the government, manufacturing, the IT industry, contracting and construction, and distribution and wholesale.
Roughly 60% of all who visited have direct decision making skills, which is good news for exhibitors.
