Editions are spaced out every two years and held at Messe Essen, which also serves as the official organiser of the event. This was due to the removal of the country's pandemic restrictions. The event attracted 383 exhibitors from 36 countries and around 17,000 visitors, with 77% of those in attendance being decision-makers.
Security Essen 2024
Messe Security Essen 2024 was a live trade fair that took place between 17.09.2024 and 20.09.2024. The event was held in Messe Essen and was attended by more than 20,500 participants. This included over 500 exhibitors from 36 countries and more than 20,000 visitors from 86 nations (17% increase in attendance compared to the 2022 format). 91% of the visitors praised their participation in the event and will recommend the event to others. Likewise, 86% of the exhibitors have reaffirmed their participation for the next edition.
