Audience and statistics
Another reason why DSEI has become a big platform for supply and demand is the fact that there’s a lot of effort put into devising countermeasures against cyber-crimes. Security is one of the big subjects with 6 seminars tackling current challenges while CYBER HUB dives deep into subjects like electronic warfare, telecommunication systems and high-tech surveillance. The audience breaks down into influencers, decision makers, military buyers and a whole line-up of VIP guests.

The 2021 edition of DSEI was of great importance for the global defence & security industry. This is due to the rendition representing the successful restart of the face-to-face fairs for both the sector and the UK. The rendition occurred as a hybrid event consisting of a face-to-face exhibition and a digital platform. It occurred between September 14th and September 17th at ExCeL London. The edition featured new additions, including the introduction of the ‘Future Tech Hub’. It was a dedicated hub that combined Innovation, Cyber and Communication. The hub allowed professionals to examine novelties related to digitalisation, cybersecurity, networks & communications.
