The Big 5 Show arrives annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to showcase the next generation of materials, equipment, and machinery. Editions are held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre - Dubai World Trade Centre at the end of November and programming goes on for a total of four days. The main role as organizer falls to dmg :: events Middle East, but with the more than generous support of the Dubai Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Federation of VAE and Department of Economic Development. The official working hours are from 11:00 am until 19:00 pm and only professionals are admitted through the gates. Now let’s discuss commuting in Dubai. The Big 5 Show rewards its exhibitors. It currently holds the title as the biggest construction event in the Middle East, so naturally, all the most significant players gravitate towards this trade fair first. This is seen in the numbers, which show over 2500 international exhibitors and more than 66,000 industry insiders. In total that’s 134 countries represented currently. That’s enough to open you up to new regions altogether. The biggest buyers do come from the United Emirates and Saudi Arabia, but you also have markets such as Pakistan, China, and India present. We also need to see who are the visitors that attend The Big 5. The group is varied and features not only experts but also many decision-makers. We are talking about engineers, distributors, architects, consultants, project managers, contractors, c-level leaders, and procurement professionals.
The Big 5 Show 2022
The 2022 edition of the Big 5 Show was held between 05.12.2022 and 08.12.2022 in the Dubai World Trade Centre. The live trade show did not feature Covid-19 safety measures. This was due to the improved coronavirus pandemic situation. A total of $766 million were generated via the on-site business interactions between the 2 000 exhibitors and over 65 000 visitors from 150 countries.
The Big 5 Show 2023
The Big 5 Show 2023 took place as a live trade fair in the DWTC. It occurred between 04.12.2023 and 07.12.2023 and received 2,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries.
The Big 5 Show 2024
The Big 5 Show 2024 was a live trade fair hosted between 26.11.2024 and 29.11.2024 in the DWTC. The event showcased 60,000 wares that were displayed by 2,500 exhibitors from over 65 countries and the more than 130 Big 5 Talks' sessions of over 230 speakers. They were overviewed by 85,000 visitors from over 165 countries, including more than 1,000 industrial delegations.
