Munich, Germany has been the home of transport logistic for over forty years and the trade fair is held once every two years with editions falling on odd years. Typically, transport logistic arrives in mid-spring, sometime around the start of May. Messe Munich performs the dual duties of the fair organiser and the hosting venue.
Only trade visitors are admitted to the exhibition centre during the four days of the fair, and working hours are set from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm on the first three days. Closing time on the last day is set for 16:00 pm!
The next topic concerns getting to Messe Munich – a simple task whether you rent a car or use the public transport. The grounds are connected to the metro system and the city rail system, so there is always a quick connection from any point of the city.
Organisers make it clear that transport logistic is a lucrative opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers, as the trade fair has exhibited consistent and significant growth. Numbers compared to the last edition have significantly improved with exhibitors increasing by 5.4% to over 2100, while trade visitors have risen by 9.5% to well over 60,000 attendees.
Although based in Germany, the trade fair has a high concentration of international markets (predominantly from Europe) with the countries with most exhibitors being the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, France, Austria, Spain, the UK, the Czech Republic and Poland. What we also see is a good push from China to stake a claim in the industry, and its biggest exhibitor was China Railway Container Transport.
Given the size and scope of the event, you can expect to encounter the biggest players at transport logistic. Audience members make up higher management and possess decision-making powers.

Transport Logistic 2023
The 2023 edition of Transport Logistic occurred in a live trade show format without installing Covid-19 safety measures. The event was hosted in Messe Munich and did not include such measures due to the removed pandemic-related restrictions. The edition marked a new visitor record for the event as it was attended by more than 75,000 visitors from over 120 countries. They overviewed the wares of 2,320 exhibitors from 67 nations.

Transport Logsitic 2021 was hosted in a digital format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It received 8,500 participants.
