VISION 2024
The trade show will be held live at Messe Stuttgart from October 8th to October 10th, 2024. Because of the removal of the pandemic-related limitations, the most recent COVID-19 preventative measures will not be implemented. Organisers have stated that they will continue to monitor the ongoing pandemic situation and adapt the safety policies as needed.

VISION is based in Stuttgart, Germany and arrives at Messe Stuttgart every two years. Editions are scheduled for three days at the start of October and fall on even years. The international trade fair shares the exhibition grounds with Motek and Bondexpo. Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH is the official organiser for the trade fair and keeps doors open only to professional visitors only. Work hours are set for 09:00 in the morning and 18:00 in the evening, but double check for any changes once the official program is revealed. Messe Stuttgart is best reached by car and has 6700 parking spots available. If you’re not driving your own vehicle, there’s also bus lines and the suburban rail (S-Bahn) available to take you to the exhibition grounds. The exhibition centre also has a quick connection to Stuttgart Airport.

In the pre-pandemic times, VISION regularly pulled in around 11,000 trade visitors and the edition to take place during the pandemic managed around half with 5400 visitors in attendance. There were 472 exhibitors on average arriving from 32 countries. VISION enjoys the generous support of the VDMA Industrielle Bildverarbeitung. The professional audience represents 66 markets and flies in from Italy, Switzerland, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, USA, Korea, Japan, Taiwan Poland, the United Kingdom and Sweden. Roughly 46% are foreign nationals – a solid increase in the chance to penetrate international markets. Around 80% of all visitors have some kind of purchasing power or are heavily involved in purchasing decisions, so that means well for exhibitors looking for new customers. The five industries with the biggest numbers of visitors are image processing, electrical engineering and electronics, automotive industry, medical technology and pharmacy, mechanical and plant engineering.
VISION 2021 Edition
VISION's 2021 edition was hosted at the Messe Stuttgart between 05.10.2021 and 07.10.2021. The event took place as a live exposition with strict Covid-19 prevention measures in place. The edition received over 5,400 trade visitors from countries such as the Netherlands and Italy.
VISION 2022 Edition
VISION 2022 was a live event conducted at Messe Stuttgart from October 4th to October 6th, 2022. Due to the removal of the corresponding domestic limitations, the event location did not include Covid-19 safety precautions. The event attracted 6,505 attendees from 60 countries (55% of whom had considerable purchasing power) and 378 exhibitors (60% of whom were from abroad).
