VIV Europe will be returning to the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Exhibition & Convention Centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands from May 31st to June 2nd, 2022 for a live event. Industry players will be able to witness the latest innovations and meet experts amidst the latest COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
VIV Europe is the right international trade fair for any farmer who wants to find innovative animal production technology for the needs of their business. With half a century of history under its belt, VIV Europe is one of the must-attend events for innovations in processing from feed to meat.
Since 1968, this international trade fair has gathered many professionals from the field of animal feeding and breeding, and as a result it formed itself as a major platform for procurement and innovation. There is a reason why VIV Europe stills holds the reputation as the Olympics of the animal protein sector.
One of the fair’s strengths is its commitment to showcasing the entire processing chain – raw materials, farm equipment, feed processing equipment & supplies, animal health & breeding, and meat processing, packaging & handling. The breadth of products encompasses poultry meat, eggs, pig meat, calf meat and dairy.
VIV Europe is spaced out every four years and editions are held in Utrecht, Netherlands. The fair lasts for three days in total and proceedings take place in early summer often at the start of June.
Jaarbeurs serves as the official organiser for the event and the trade fair is put together at the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Exhibition & Convention Centre. Admission is given only to trade visitors and working hours are set from 10:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. The Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Exhibition & Convention Centre finds itself in the beating heart of Utrecht right next to the Central Train Station, which means you’ll have an easy time walking to the venue from your city centre hotel or by catching one of the many bus lines that service the train station. The commute couldn’t be any easier to plan.
What Are People Saying?
“My compliments on a fantastic show, my personal mark for it is 10! We have presented our new company named Gi-Ovo (the previous Twinpack b.v.), some new products and also new export manager Veronica Desenzani — and all was great!” – Oscar Giordano, CEO, Giordano Poultry Plast;
“This was only our second direct participation at VIV Europe and the 2018 show was simply fantastic for us. We met the right people with serious investment plans and introduced them to our unique solutions for marinating and packaging poultry products,” – Torsten Giese, Marketing Manager, Ishida Europe;
“It was the perfect platform to meet with our customers and industry colleagues from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond,” Sara Collins, European Marketing Manager, Aviagen;
“The ratings given by our attendees when interviewed over the three days are consistent and express the added value of VIV Europe 2018. Exhibitors on average have rated it at a strong 7.6, on a scale where 10 indicates the highest satisfaction,” – Renate Wiendels, Event Manager, VNU Exhibitions Europe.
Audience & Statistics
VIV Europe generates significant business for its exhibitors as you’re one among 600 exhibitors that attend the trade fair, while the audience continues to grow with the expectation to go beyond 25,000 industry insiders. That’s a good ratio and you need to know that there’s a great variety of professional backgrounds.
You get to meet with distributors, breeders, nutritionists, farm owners, farm employees, food retailers, processing companies, veterinarians, importers and exporters, engineers, researchers and consultants. That’s certainly to be ignored. Nor is the geographic reach you can gain thanks to VIV Europe.
Aside from European markets, the trade fair has opened new channels to Africa with Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger being the new markets to be explored on ground.
