WIRTSCHAFTSGEMEINSCHAFT Zoologischer Fachbetriebe partners with NürnbergMesse to bring Interzoo alive in Nuremberg, Germany once every two years. The international trade fair is usually held in the second half of May and last for four days in total.
Only professional visitors are admitted into the exhibition halls and doors are open from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm. The only exception is the last day, which ends two hours earlier at 16:00 pm.

Messe Nuremberg was the venue for the live section of the show. Due to the removal of associated domestic limitations in April 2022, the site did not have a stringent Covid-19 safety plan. This contributed to the joyous environment and delighted participants. The event attracted approximately 28,000 visitors from 129 nations and 1,329 exhibiting companies from 59 countries. In addition, around 220 correspondents from 13 countries attended the trade show. The overall event space was 105,000 m2 divided between 12 halls, with a 72 percent internationality ratio among participants.
Interzoo 2024
The 2024 edition of Interzoo took place as a live trade fair between 07.05.2024 and 10.05.2024. It was held in Messe Nuremberg. The event was attended by over 2,100 exhibitors from 68 countries and 40,000 visitors from more than 120 nations.
