The Great Yorkshire Show follows a strict annual schedule, where editions begin on the second Tuesday of July until Thursday. Programming lasts for a total of three days and is put together by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. The show is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and occupies a massive exhibition space called the Great Yorkshire Showground, which totals 250 acres or 100 ha. Most of the space is grasslands with a few permanent structures

This was because of the removal of the related domestic limitations. A total of 140,000 attendees attended the event.

The Great Yorkshire Show's 2023 edition was hosted in a live format between 11.07.2023 and 14.07.2023 at the Great Yorkshire Showground. The event featured 140,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors.
