AIRTEC has recently changed management and now the aerospace trade fair is managed by IGF (Innovative Global Fairs). Editions continue to take place every year towards the end of October and are three days long each. MTC Münchner Textil Center (or MTC world of fashion) hosts the event, which is only open for trade visitors. Opening hours are usually set for 09:00 in the morning until 17:00 in the afternoon. Be sure to check for any changes to these hours ahead of your visit. Let’s discuss how to travel to MTC Münchner Textil Center from your hotel. Located between the English Gardens and Olympia Park, this exhibition centre has a fantastic location. There are many public transport options that run regularly. The fastest would be the subway system, but there are also city rail and bus lines that stop near the exhibition grounds.

  • “At AIRTEC 21 you definitely felt an upswing. On the one hand, if you compare this year’s number of exhibitors and visitors with the previous year. But also from the spirit that prevailed in the hall – the desire for networking, the joy of seeing friends again and the lively conversations with new contacts. We are already looking forward to exhibiting with member companies again at AIRTEC 22,” - MARTINA ROSEBROCK, Fair and Event Management, HANSE-AEROSPACE;
  • “The AIRTEC 21 brought together once again industrial key players and thus enabled future forward dialogue. We face a decade of fundamental change in aerospace due to technology, innovations and climate change. AIRTEC helps in exchanging on how we can meet these challenges and opportunities,” - ANDREAS PEROTTI, Chief Marketing Officer Europe, EHang
  • “Nice come together of the aviation industry with a different focus than other industry specific events! We had interesting discussions, we liked it a lot to show our new innovative products, solutions and services!” - CHRISTIAN GRIM, Managing Director, BOSCH General Aviation Technology GmbH

As a specialist trade fair, AIRTEC maintains high attendance numbers even during the pandemic. The last edition reported attendance from 1200 trade visitors and 120 exhibitors from 20 countries in total. The major markets were Austria, Hungary, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and Israel. The overall reception of AIRTEC has been incredibly positive year after year, because of the quality of trade visitors. Of course, you have high-ranking officials from aviation companies, air cargo companies, aerospace clusters and major aircraft companies. Quite a few people among exhibitors and presenters are members of the EU parliament. The conference is filled with famous names of engineers and experts. In 2022, you can expect to hear from pilot, author and motivational speaker Philip Keil.
