Every three years, a new edition of the highly reputable exhibition Anuga FoodTec takes place in Cologne, Germany and gathers many experts from the food and drink manufacturing industry on a single stage. Anuga FoodTec 2024
The 2024 edition of Anuga FoodTec will take place as a hybrid trade exhibition from the 19th to the 22nd of March. The popular food packaging industry fair will be held at Cologne's Koelnmesse or Messe Cologne. Due to the removal of national coronavirus regulations on 02.04.2022, the venue does not have rigorous Covid-19 safety precautions in place. Attendees are strongly recommended, however, to adhere to rules such as upholding a 1.5 metre social distance. They should also be aware that, because of the ongoing travel bans, they will be required to submit 3G entry documents upon arrival in Germany.

Programming runs for four days, where for the first three days visitors can enter from 09:00 in the morning until 06:00 in the afternoon. The fourth day has a closing time of 04:00 pm. Exhibitors gain an extra hour before official opening hours and one after closing time. Koelnmesse GmbH is both the organiser for the exhibition and the venue!
Anuga FoodTec 2022 Edition
The pandemic has taught many event organisers the value of digital offers at times when meeting face to face is impossible. Anuga FoodTec has learned this lesson with the 2022 trade fair occurring as a hybrid event. Anuga FoodTec @home was the digital platform that complimented the live proceedings and strengthened networking, especially for those unable to visit the trade in person. There were many features for exhibitors and trade visitors alike. They could stream expert seminars, start-up pitches, company, and product presentations as well as access live events in remote form. Organisers found a suitable means to restart the industry in a time when it was difficult to travel internationally. Anuga FoodTec's 2022 edition focused on the role of digitalisation as a solution for issues in the logistics sector. Around 25,000 trade visitors from over 120 countries and 1,034 exhibitors from 44 nations attended the edition. Approximately 57% of the visitors represented foreign countries.
