NürnbergMesse GmbH serves as both organiser and venue for the event and brings about editions every year, though right now FachPack is paused during Interpack and will return in 2021. Product categories on display feature packaging materials and suppliers, logistics systems, packaging machines, package printing and services for the industry. Messe Nuremberg admits trade visitors from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm, with the final day wrapping up at 17:00 pm!
The reason why FachPack is so central to the packaging sector is because it’s the first place where the latest innovations are revealed to the world. Last edition had 600 advancements showcased. Another reason why you should exhibit is the sheer diversity of industry representatives as every single industry needs packaging – cosmetics and chemicals, automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and medical technology.
FachPack 2021
The 2021 rendition of FachPack occurred as a hybrid event between the 28th of September and the 30th of September 2021. The edition consisted of an in-person exhibition with strict COVID-19 prevention measures, which took place at messe Nuremberg. Complementing the expo was a comprehensive digital platform. The prevention measures for the in-person exhibition included mandatory wearing of masks. Around 24,000 trade visitors and a total of 788 exhibitors attended FachPack's 2021 edition.
FachPack 2022
FACHPACK 2022's principal theme was "Transition in packaging". It concentrated on the significant trends that affected the packaging sector. The circular economy, e-commerce, and digitalisation were discussed topics. It also emphasised the hygienic component of product protection. Additionally, information on home delivery and internet purchasing were presented in this edition. The rendition provided answers to a variety of issues, including: What types of purchasing habits would consumers display in the future? Between September 27th and September 29th, 2022, Messe Nuremberg hosted the hybrid event, which featured 1,145 exhibitors, 42% of which were international enterprises.
FachPack 2024
FachPack 2024 took place as a live trade fair between the dates 24.09.2024 and 26.09.2024 in Messe Nuremberg. The event presented the wares of 1,455 exhibitors from 44 countries (42% from abroad). They were examined by 37,000 visitors, with 33% from abroad and approximately 90% being decision-makers. This includes 66% in managerial positions from associated industries such as F&B, pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, non-food and trade. They also incorporated cosmetics, automotive, electrical, electronics, logistics, and packaging. 96% of visitors were pleased with the exhibitors present at the event.
