Exhibitions in Guangzhou, China for Home & Lifestyle

The high point of Guangzhou’s home décor and lifestyle industry is the arrival of the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) every year. GILE has proven itself for three decades as an undisputed leader of lighting technology in China. The 2024 edition will be centered around the theme “Light +”, which seeks to extend the applications of light beyond traditional boundaries, emphasizing its integration into lifestyle, aesthetics, art, and even agriculture. GILE 2024 will feature eight themed halls, each dedicated to a unique application of light. Hall 10.1 in Zone B, dedicated to Light + Lifestyle and Light + Aesthetics, will be a hub of design aesthetics. In collaboration with Luce e Design, this zone will feature top lighting brands and designers from around the world. The goal is to create a space where art, design, and creativity converge, bridging the gap between Eastern and Western design philosophies. This fusion of ideas will highlight how lighting can transform living spaces, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. This is where home décor brands will be able to leave their mark on the trade show. Visitors can experience the full potential of lighting as a medium for art at the 4th Light Art Exhibition, themed “Metamorphosis”. This exhibition will feature designers and lighting brands, who will collaborate to create visually stunning and culturally significant light art pieces. The exhibition will depart from traditional formats, offering an interactive and immersive experience. Visitors will follow a “closed-loop” path that ensures the comprehensive exploration of the exhibition areas. To further boost participation, the exhibition will incorporate certain elements of gamification. Visitors can engage in challenges, interact with exhibits, and earn rewards for completing tasks. This innovative approach not only makes the exhibition more engaging but also encourages deeper interaction with the artworks and technologies on display.
