CHINAPLAS & COVID-19

CHINAPLAS 2023 is underway, with organisers deep into planning the upcoming trade show for the plastics industry. Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. has scheduled the live edition for April 17th—April 20th and visitors can expect the latest in COVID-19 protective measures. The measures will include social distancing, mandatory surgical masks and the 3G entry policy. Participants will have to show, upon arrival at the venue, documentation such as proof of recovery. Such documents must also be shown upon arrival in the country due to the ongoing travel limitations. There is a lot of interest from shareholders and exhibitors already as a way to continue the conversation during a very challenging time for the plastics sector. The event's latest edition will be hosted in the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, China.

Introduction

Professionals in the plastics and rubber industry can look forward to a competitive support program and an assortment of innovative products at CHINAPLAS. The international trade show currently sits as the second-largest event for plastics and rubber in the world, which makes it essential for manufacturers and distributors to meet and close deals. The very first edition was held in 1983 and since then has been growing fast. Organisers expect for attendance to continue rising. As far as products go, trade visitors have the full value chain at their disposal. We’re talking plastic parts, plastic processing machines, raw materials, plastic products, extrusion lines, injection molding machines, rubber and rubber machinery. CHINAPLAS is where supply meets demand on a global scale and exhibitors have a chance to penetrate the Asian markets. The trade show is also an “UFI Approved Event”. The status is given by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
