Proceedings take place over the course of four days in January at Messe Hannover every year. The official organiser of the trade fair is the Deutsche Messe AG. The expected working hours are from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm, but are subject to change as programming is fully confirmed.

DOMOTEX Hannover 2023 marked the event's successful return to hosting face-to-face editions. It took place in Hannover Fairground. The venue did not implement Covid-19 safety precautions due to the removal of Germany's pandemic-related limitations. This was quite welcome for the participants, which included over 730 exhibitors (69% were from a foreign country and 80% were decision-makers).
DOMOTEX Hannover 2024
The 2024 edition of DOMOTEX Hannover 2024 took place as a live trade fair that featured around 19,000 participants. This was due to the event receiving around 18,000 visitors from 140 nations who overviewed the wares of approximately 1,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, including 170 product debuts. This continued the success of DOMOTEX Hannover 2023.
