FIBO reliably arrives in Cologne, Germany every spring at the start of April. The international fair for fitness, health and wellbeing fills out the halls of Koelnmesse for four days in total and editions are open to all visitors. Reed Exhibitions Deutschland serves as the official organiser for the trade fair.
Opening times are set from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm. These times are subject to change, so be sure to check again close to the day. Koelnmesse is well positioned in central Cologne, which makes it effortless for commuters to reach. If you don’t want to rent a car during FIBO, you can rely on public transport. Shuttle buses, tram and metro services all head to Koelnmesse as to city rail S-Bahn lines S6, S11, S12, S13. No matter where you stay in Cologne, there’s a convenient way to make your way to the exhibition grounds.

FIBO scores high each year in terms of its visitor numbers. Last edition saw the participation of more than 145,000 international visitors coming from all over Europe with an emphasis on those countries closest to German including Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France. The fitness exhibition attracts both trade and private visitors.
Professionals in attendance include personal trainers, gym owners, physiotherapists, nutritionists, digitalisation experts, hotel and spa managers and professionals, health specialists and experts. Private visitors keep a rather diverse background as there are office professionals, managers, students, housewives and athletes. This gives exhibitors the perfect balance between growing their business on a B2B level, but also then connect with the end consumer and gain valuable customer insights.
FIBO 2024
The 2024 edition of FIBO was a live trade fair hosted in Messe Cologne. It was held between the dates of 11.04.2024 and 14.04.2024. It was attended by over 1,000 exhibitors and 129,668 visitors.
FIBO 2023
FIBO 2023 improved upon the success of the 2022 edition. It featured 867 exhibitors whose wares were examined by 106,146 visitors. The event was hosted as a live trade show at Messe Cologne between 13.04.2023 and 16.04.2023.
FIBO 2022
The trade fair layout was improved for FIBO 2022. The 2022 rendition also emphasised health-related concepts. The fair included a special mention of post-pandemic opportunities. Incorporating new areas like mixed reality sports was also a focus topic. The event attracted 51,270 visitors and over 500 exhibitors.
