NürnbergMesse GmbH has shared its intention to bring back the international trade show as a live event in its regular slot in September. The new official dates have been confirmed for 15.09.2026-18.09.2026, and exhibitors are already able to buy tickets.

GaLaBau 2022
GaLaBau 2022 was hosted as a face-to-face event in Messe Nuremberg from September 14th to September 17th, 2022. Due to the lifting of the country's domestic coronavirus regulations, the venue did not have Covid-19 safety precautions. The exhibition attracted over 1,100 exhibitors from 34 nations and approximately 62,000 visitors from 76 countries, and introduced the Digitalisation@GaLaBau Forum.
GaLaBau 2024
The 2024 edition of GaLaBau took place as a live trade fair in Messe Nuremberg between the dates of 11.09.2024 and 14.09.2024. The edition featured over 1,100 exhibitors from 33 countries and more than 66,000 visitors from 80 nations. 30% of the exhibitors were from abroad and the event was held on around 61,000 m2 of exhibition space.
GaLaBau gathers together professionals once every two years in Nuremberg, Germany, where the editions run for a total of four days. The biannual schedule allows for exhibitors to develop new products and every edition brings only innovations and emerging trends. GaLaBau typically takes place in early fall, usually in the middle of September. NürnbergMesse GmbH takes on the duties as the official organiser and the international trade show is based out of Messe Nuremberg. Doors are open only to trade visitors. There are no official working hours yet, so be sure to check in on the official site for more information. The exhibition centre has a large parking lot available, but if you’re not driving, there are other options for commuting. There’s a metro station that offers reliable service throughout the day with connections to the city centre and the airport.

GaLaBau enjoys high participation rates. In 2018, the trade show registered a record-breaking 72,000 trade visitors, which is a jump in numbers by 12.3% compared to 2016. This only confirms GaLaBau as a potent marketplace full of opportunities for exhibitors. Speaking of exhibitors, there were over 1200 companies representing 37 countries overall. It’s a good distribution of visitors to exhibitors, so you’re sure to see a lot of foot traffic. There’s quite a lot of interest from all related sectors. The audience consists of landscape contractors, building contractors, specialist authorities, public clients, maintenance, architects, cemeteries, leisure ground operators and private sector clients.
