Because IPM ESSEN acts as a trendsetter, it always arrives at the beginning of the calendar year. The second half of January generally is the time editions take place. The trade show takes place annually at Messe Essen. The site is also the official organiser for the event, and admission is strictly for trade visitors.
Over four days in total, doors are open from 09:00 am until 6:00 pm. Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. ZVG functions as an official partner and supporter of the event.
