IMEX occurs every year in late spring in Frankfurt, Germany. Regent Exhibitions Ltd. brings each edition to the modern space of Messe Frankfurt for a total of three days in May.
The annual event is open only to trade visitors and doors open from 10:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. The only exception is the last day, which closes at 16:30 pm.

Messe Frankfurt gives visitors several options in terms of transport. The easiest way would be to drive, but you can also rely on transfer services from the airport as well the metro, suburban train system and the tram.
IMEX has established itself as a natural meeting point for industry insiders within Germany and the rest of Europe. The numbers are especially pleasing for exhibitors as there are more than 3500 international exhibitors to an audience that regularly exceeds 7000 professionals. The hosted buyer program alone is responsible for over 3800 buyers, whose sole motivation for attendance is to make big purchases.
As far as professional backgrounds go, the audience represents hotels, incentive and event agencies, convention centers, meeting and conference planners as well as event companies. Exhibitors can target a variety of markets. The majority of hosted buyers come from countries in Europe – Spain, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland, but you can also meet buyers from USA, Brazil, China and India as the international markets outside Europe with the highest concentration.
IMEX 2022
The 2022 edition of IMEX occurred as a face-to-face event at Messe Frankfurt from May 31st to June 2nd, 2022. Due to the country's removal of associated domestic restrictions, the venue did not include mandatory Covid-19 safety precautions. The event attracted 9,000 buyers, of which 3,000 were hosted ones. It also featured 2,300 exhibitors.
IMEX 2023
IMEX 2023 was hosted as a live trade show between 23.05.2023 and 25.05.2023 in Messe Frankfurt. The format featured more than 3,500 buyers who conducted 55,000 meetings.
IMEX 2024
The 2024 edition of IMEX Frankfurt took place as a live trade fair between 14.05.2024 and 16.05.2024. It featured over 50,000 meetings organised between more than 2,700 exhibitors from over 150 nations and approximately 8,000 visitors.
