Venue and Event Update
The next face-to-face edition of the ITB Berlin trade fair is scheduled for the dates of 07.03.2023 and 09.03.2023. Messe Berlin will host the edition on 160,000 m2 of event space. The exhibition stands will be arranged under the company's geographic destination representation. This will help attendees to find suitable exhibitors based on the locations they would like to learn about. The Culture Partner for the rendition will be Georgia. The ITB Convention will coincide with ITB Berlin 2023. Attendees should be aware that they will not be required to show 3G entry documents upon arrival in Germany.
Introduction
Do you want to learn about the newest trends in the travel and tourism sectors? Seek to position yourself on the global market? You need to be present for ITB Berlin—the major international trade show that represents the travel industry as its whole.
Apart from the chances of networking with decision-makers and researching your competitors in the flesh, there will be many talks and presentations on emerging trends and best practices in the industry.
ITB Berlin (or just ITB) has been running since 1966 and now has established satellite events in China, India and Singapore. It’s a prime procurement platform that in the past has generated over 7 billion Euro. The entire market chain is represented through cruises, cultural tourism, LGTB tourism, wellness tourism, and even youth tourism.
Logistics
ITB Berlin is an annual occurrence that is scheduled in March at the start of the travel season for a lot of countries worldwide. The international exhibition lasts for five days and shares the stage with another travel event – the Berlin Travel Festival.
Messe Berlin serves as the official organiser and editions are put at the Berlin ExpoCenter City. Doors are open to industry insiders and the public, which gives you key insight into market performance. The working hours are from 10:00 am until 18:00 pm.
Berlin ExpoCenter City makes it easy to reach whether you’ve taken a taxi, rented a car or use public transport. There are quick ways to get to the grounds in a minute. Commuters are spoilt for choice between the various metro, light rail, and bus lines.

“ITB Berlin is very important for us because the German market is too. This is where we find out what German tour operators and German holidaymakers want, and we show them what Greece has to offer. This ITB Berlin went event better for us than in previous years,” -Elena Kontoura, tourism minister of Greece.
Audience & Statistics
We’ve already claimed that ITB Berlin is a juggernaut of an event and a world leader, but what does that look like in terms of numbers? For starters, you’ll be competing with 10,000 exhibitors for the attention of the audience, but then again, the exhibition halls will fill with over 160,000 visitors in total from over 180 countries.
Although the doors are open to both industry insiders and the public, only roughly 50,000 accounts for end consumers. That’s also not mentioning the ITB Buyers Circle, which has brought 1000 qualified buyers to the top of their industry. These numbers alone should excite you about the opportunity to exhibit at ITB Berlin.
The professional audience comprises tour operators, hotel enterprises, traffic carriers, tourist organisations, travel agencies and advertising agencies.
