ITB Berlin 2022
ITB Berlin's 2022 rendition took place as a two-stage digital event held on itb.com with the help of Messe Berlin. The first stage took place between 08.03.2022 and 10.03.2022, while the second took place as a Digital Business Day on 17.03.2022. The hosting format for the rendition was changed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The aforementioned global situation was also among the central themes of the edition. A total of 223 speakers and 450 media members from 30 countries attended the event. They were accompanied by 60,700 attendees from 125 countries during the first phase and by over 1,000 speed networking participants during the second. The Digital Business Day also included 2,500 buyers and suppliers from 96 countries.
ITB Berlin 2023
ITB Berlin 2023 occurred as a hybrid trade fair between 07.03.2023 and 09.03.2023 in Messe Berlin. The hosting location for the live aspect of the event did not include Covid-19 safety measures. This was because Germany removed its pandemic-related restrictions. ITB Berlin 2023 featured around 5,500 exhibitors from 161 countries, 90,127 visitors from more than 180 nations, 3,000 journalists, 333 travel bloggers, and 400 speakers. The visitors included 1,300 ITB Buyers; Circle members. 70% of them represented a foreign country.
