Productronica is but one of three events co-located in Munich, Germany. The other two are InPrint Munich and SEMICON EUROPA. All three are held on a biennial basis at Messe Munich, which also performs the duties of official organiser. Editions are scheduled for late autumn, sometime in November, and run for a total of four days.

Productronica 2021

Between 16.11.2021 and 19.11.2021 Messe Munich served as the hosting location of Productronica 2021. The venue featured stringent Covid-19 prevention measures. Among the measures that were put in place was a 3G entry policy. As part of the regulation, attendees needed to present vaccination, recovery, or negative test result certificates. Despite the ongoing pandemic and travel bans, a total of 70 countries represented by 20,000 visitors and 894 exhibitors attended. 

Productronica 2023

The 2023 edition of Productronica took place as a live trade fair in Messe Munich between 14.11.2023 and 17.11.2023. It did not feature Covid-19 safety measures due to the removal of the country's pandemic restrictions. The event featured over 1,400 exhibitors from 45 countries (54% from abroad) and 42,000 visitors from 94 nations (58% from abroad). 92% of the exhibiting and 99% of the visiting gave Productronica 2023 excellent ratings. 

Productronica 2025

Productronica 2025 coincided with SEMICON Europa 2025. The live trade fairs were held between 18.11.2025 and 21.11.2025. The editions featured more than 47,000 visitors from 98 countries and over 1,600 exhibitors from 52 nations (a 20% increase in attendance with 58% from abroad). 95% of the visitors had their innovation expectations met. Furthermore, 90% of the exhibitors were pleased with the visitors quality and 91% with the event.
