The world’s leading trade fair for electronics development and production, Productronica, will be returning to Messe München in Munich, Germany, for its live 2021 edition. The trade show is set for November 16th until November 19th and organisers are planning the event with COVID-19 prevention protocols in mind.

The European electronics market is hard to penetrate, but there’s one international exhibition that opens the door to new clients, better visibility and new regions – productronica. It’s one of the few events where you can establish a global presence from the industry leading specialists from many manufacturing sectors.

The innovation platform is comprehensive and cutting edge, and you will learn about the capacity for both quantity and quality of the new dynamic markets. These benefits are also boosted from its long history and reputation first established back in 1975. The full chain of electronics manufacturing from batteries through software to process control and technologies as well as applications is showcased.

The product portfolio includes circuit-carrier manufacturing; technologies in cable processing; component-mount technology; soldering technology, organic electronics, quality assurance, nano production and product finishing.

Attendance guarantees not only a strong income flow, but also the knowledge of where the industry is headed first hand.

productronica is but one of three events co-located in Munich, Germany. The other two are InPrint Munich and SEMICON EUROPA. All three are held on a biennial basis at Messe München, which also performs the duties of official organiser. Editions are scheduled for late autumn, sometime in November, and run for a total of four days.

Admission is given to trade visitors only and working hours are from 09:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon on the first three days and until 16:00 pm on the closing day.

Now let’s cover logistics. Getting to Messe München is easy, whether you decide to rent a car or rely on public transportation. If you’re going with the latter, the U2 metro line is the quickest way to make the trip. Your hotel’s not close enough? The city’s city rail system is there to make your commute possible.

What you can expect as an exhibitor

  • You’re at productronica to do business, and that’s exactly what the exhibition is designed to deliver. Organisers reveal that 57% of all visitors are there to begin new partnerships, while 63% are preparing for new investments. Those are favourable indications you’ll get a lot of qualified leads;
  • If you’re looking for new talent to enrich your company, then productronica is the place to headhunt thanks to the ever-growing popularity of Accelerating Talents – a program aimed at young professionals and students that are just breaking into the electronics industry;
  • Discover the future of technologies and stay informed about emerging players. One such place during the exhibition is the Fast Forward platform, which highlights startups.
