Last edition it was Environmental Monitoring and this year it’s going to be Sensor and Measuring Technology for Condition Monitoring. As we’ve said the entire value chain is presented here, which also includes measuring cells, measuring devices, semiconductors, test equipment, calibrators, micro actuators, micro-switches and nikro pumps. Sensor + Test 2025 will be hosted as a live event at Messe Nuremberg. The hosting dates for the edition are set between 06.05.2025 and 08.05.2025.

SENSOR + TEST is an annual exhibition, which takes place in Nuremberg, Germany. As a rule, editions runs for a total of three days during June and proceedings take place in Messe Nurnberg. The event is brought to you by AMA Service GmbH with special assistance from AMA - German Association for Sensors and Measurement Technology. Only trade visitors are admitted and work hours are from 09:00 am in the morning until 17:00 pm in the afternoon. Don’t know how to get to Messe Nurnberg and don’t intend to drive around with a car? You can be there in minutes, if you grab the U1 metro line. There are solid transport connections to the exhibition grounds from the airport and the city centre as well. It doesn’t take more than a few minutes to make the journey.

SENSOR + TEST has performed more than well considering it’s a highly specialised exhibition. The last edition registered a little over 500 exhibitors and close to 7000 trade visitors from over 40 countries. The ratio between German nationals and foreign visitors is still in favor of Germany as only 33% of all visitors are from outside the country, but this is a metric that’s steadily improving.
The majority of international visitors represented markets in all of Europe, then followed by those in Asia, North America and Africa. Visitors work in research, development and construction, but don’t let that full you – around 91% have a say in decisions for their company. The industries that have a strong presence at SENSOR + TEST include medical engineering, consulting, machinery and plant construction, the automotive sector and other electrical industries.
Sensor + Test 2022
The 2022 edition of Sensor + Test was held at Messe Nuremberg as a face-to-face trade fair. The edition took place between 10.05.2022 and 12.05.2022 amidst the absence of rigorous Covid-19 precautionary measures. This is due to the lifting of Germany's domestic Covid-19 domestic restrictions in April 2022. The live event featured approximately 4,500 visitors and 371 exhibitors.
Sensor + Test 2023
Sensor + Test 2023 featured an increase in visitor attendance rate of around 20%. The event was attended by more than 5,000 visitors (27% had travelled from a foreign country). They conducted business with 338 exhibitors from 26 countries (40% from abroad) and approximately 700 conference attendees on 5,400 m2.
Sensor + Test 2024
The 2024 edition of the event took place as a live trade fair between 11.06.2024 and 13.06.2024. The event was held in Messe Nuremberg and featured the wares of 500 exhibitors from 24 countries (47% from foreign countries) on over 5 500 m2. The event was attended by approximately 5,000 visitors.
