The organisers for this event are Alimentaria Exhibitions S.A. and editions run the full length of four days at the Fira Barcelona Gran Vía. Alimentaria 2022 Edition
Alimentaria 2022 was a live trade expo that took place from April 4th to April 7th, 2022. The event took place at Fira Barcelona - Gran Via and included more than 3,000 exhibitors from 52 countries, including 400 international enterprises, on 85,000 m2 of exhibition space. Around 100,000 trade visitors from 149 countries attended, including 1,400 key buyers and 30 leading chefs. Foreign nations were represented by 23% of the visitors. The venue featured Covid-19 safety measures such as social distancing. More than 300 innovations were presented at the edition.
Alimentaria 2024 Edition
Alimentaria 2024 took place between 18.03.2024 and 21.04.2024 as a live trade fair. It occurred in Fira Barcelona - Gran Via and included over 3 200 exhibitors from 68 countries as well as approximately 107,900 visitors from 120 nations (25% from abroad). The event also featured 2,200 invited buyers and 700 prestigious experts and chefs on around 100,000 m2. The event location did not include Covid-19 safety measures due to Italy removing its pandemic-related restrictions.
