Established in 2002, bauma CHINA is a proud addition to the bauma network of events all over the world. The international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles is the primary procurement and business platform in the whole of Asia. bauma CHINA is the joint venture of Messe München GmbH and Messe Muenchen Shanghai Co., Ltd. and is held every two years in Shanghai, China. Editions are traditionally organized towards late November and programming runs for a total of four days. The Shanghai New International Expo Centre opens its doors to professional visitors only. Work hours are set for 09:00 in the morning until 17:00 in the afternoon on the first three days. Closing day concludes its activities at 15:00. How do you reach the Shanghai New International Expo Centre? You don’t have to worry about regular public transport, because the exhibition centre is well connected to the rest of the city via metro and bus lines. No matter where you are in the city, you can find your way quickly to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

As part of the bauma family of events, bauma CHINA has a built-in reputation and maintains a high number of visitors and exhibitors even during the pandemic. The last live edition had over 2800 international exhibitors, who travelled from 34 countries and regions. Audience participation rose to 80,000 trade visitors from all over China. bauma CHINA is truly an incredible trade fair of such a large scale. There’s even 100,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition space to host all the bigger machinery and vehicles as well as hold live demos. Aside from the pandemic, the general trend for bauma CHINA is to increase the number of its international visitors and exhibitors alike. Bauma CHINA 2024
The 2024 edition of Bauma China was a live trade fair that represented the event's successful return. It was hosted between 26.11.2024 and 28.11.2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on 330,000 m2, a 6% increase compared to previous formats. The event presented the wares of more than 3,500 exhibitors from 32 countries, a 24% compared to past editions. They were overviewed by approximately 281,500 visitors from 188 nations.
