The AHR Expo is the backbone of the HVACR technology in the USA and is a source for all new technologies and business opportunities. AHR Expo is an annual event, which usually takes place towards the beginning of the year at some point in January or early February. Editions last for three days and change location every year. The current location is the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Other host cities are Las Vegas, Georgia and Chicago, Illinois. Tickets are sold to both trade visitors and the public at large and the trade show is brought to you by the International Exposition Company. Working hours are set between 10:00 in the morning and 18:00 in the afternoon except for closing day, which wraps up at 16:00. The easiest way to get to the Georgia World Congress Center is to drive. But if you’re without a car, you can also take the Las Vegas monorail. Last but not least there’s a shuttle bus service for all official show hotels that runs morning and evenings.
- AHR Expo is co-sponsored by ASHRAE and AHRI, which also means it’ll coincide with the ASHRAE’s Winter Conference.
- As always, there are going to be education sessions available free for all attendees. Industry experts will take to the stage to discuss current obstacles and the work being done to overcome them. For 2022, the programme will include 65 sessions total varying in length between one and two hours.
- There’s no other better way to stay in tune with industry growth than to take a look into the Innovation Awards program. The award winners are usually those companies to keep an eye for, because they will create new niches and market opportunities. New tech shows the next big tech trends. Not to mention, you gain immediate recognition by entering the lively competition.
AHR Expo generates a lot of professional interest. The last live edition attracted more than 50,000 trade visitors, out of which over 11,000 were first time visitors. This only proves how useful AHR Expo is for exhibitors. Organisers expect for 1650 exhibitors to make the trip for the upcoming live edition and some 300 companies are international in nature. AHR Expo is mainly an American show as the audience comes from all 50 states, but there are foreign travelers from 112 countries. The number of international visitors was over 6600 people. Exhibitors can look forward to meeting with professionals from all related fields. AHR Expo is a superb forum for OEMs, engineers, contractors, technicians, facility operators, architects, public utilities, government agencies and distributors. There’s a long list of official sponsors such as HRAI, ABMA, CABA, the Network Comfort Institute and the Green Mechanical Council.
AHR Expo 2022
AHR Expo's 2022 edition took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center between 31.01.2022-02.02.2022. The format of the event was “face-to-face” and the venue featured the latest Covid-19 safety measures. This included attendees needing to show 3G documents before entry such as vaccination passports. The edition featured a total of 30.678 participants, including 1,573 exhibiting companies.
AHR Expo 2023
AHR Expo's 2023 edition took place as a live trade fair in Atlanta with the venue not featuring Covid-19 safety measures. This was due to the country removing its pandemic-related restrictions. The event featured 42,794 visitors, 17 speakers, and 1,779 exhibitors on an event space of over 486,000 ft2 (0.05 km²).
AHR Expo 2024
AHR Expo 2024 was held as a live trade fair between 22.01.2024 and 24.01.2024. It took place in McCormick Place in Chicago and was attended by 1,875 exhibitors from approximately 42 countries.
AHR Expo 2025
AHR Expo 2025 was a live trade fair between 10.02.2025 and 12.02.2025 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The edition showcased the wares of over 1,800 exhibitors from approximately 37 countries and around 50,000 visitors.
