Beautyworld Japan Tokyo 2024

Beautyworld Japan Tokyo arrives in Tokyo, Japan every year with the spring. The annual trade show is held for three days towards mid-May at the Tokyo Big Sight. Organised by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd., Beautyworld Japan Tokyo shares the exhibition grounds with Tokyo Nail Forum and creates further synergy for buyers. Tickets are available only to trade visitors. Work hours are set for 10:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon on the first two days, and until 17:00 on closing day. There are so many ways to get to the Tokyo Big Sight. The exhibition grounds sit a good distance away from Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport. There are quick connections between the exhibition centre and the airports. No matter where you stay in the city, there’s always a fast way to reach it – the Rinkai line, Yurikamome and the Toei bus lines.

Beautyworld Japan Tokyo is a go-to meeting place for the booming beauty and wellness industry in Japan and even during the pandemic the trade show has been a great success. Overall, there were over 500 exhibitors and an audience that reached 36,000 beauty professionals. There was a lot of positive feedback and exhibitors were very satisfied with the kinds of contacts they were able to get through the trade show. Exhibitors are in a perfect position to meet face to face with buyers at all levels of the beauty and wellness industry. The audience is made up from hotels, spas, fitness clubs, massage studios & leisure facilities, aesthetic, hairdressing, nail & eyelash salons, retailers, distributors & wholesalers, manufacturers, medical institutions, government agencies, embassies & professional beauty schools.

Beautyworld Japan Tokyo 2022

The successful continuation of Beautyworld Japan Tokyo and the Japanese cosmetics industry took place in 2022. The event took place in a face-to-face format between the dates of May 16th and May 18th, 2022. The hosting location was the Tokyo Big Sight, which had stringent Covid-19 safety requirements like social distancing and obligatory face masks. The event had high participation rates, with 58,830 attendees (60 percent increase compared to 2021) and 676 exhibitors (a 32% increase from 2021). 

Beautyworld Japan Tokyo 2023

The 2023 edition of the event continued the positive and upward trend established by the 2022 and 2021 renditions. The event was hosted in a live trade fair format at the Tokyo Big Sight between 15.05.2023 and 17.05.2023. It was attended by 831 exhibitors from 11 countries (a 24% increase compared to 2022) and 71,448 visitors (a 21% increase compared to 2022). The venue did not include Covid-19 safety measures.
