Glee is the creation of Hyve Group PLC and has been an annual staple in Birmingham, UK, around the end of summer. Editions run for three days at the NEC, where you have a fun program along with product displays and presentations. Trade visitors are admitted from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm for the first two days, and until 16:00 pm on the last day. The NEC enjoys a splendid location next to Birmingham airport, which makes it easy to reach by car and by plane. If you’re residing in the city centre, there are multiple bus and coach lines that go there and you can also reach it in no time with a commuter train.

So what does this warm reception translate to in numbers? You have a wide selection of exhibitors – some 500 and counting come from all over the country and Europe. Together, they attract 7,000 international trade visitors on average, though that number goes higher every year. Glee is a heavily sponsored and partnered event, and each edition happens with support from organisations like GIMA (Garden Industry Manufacturer Ass.), GARDENEX (Federation of Garden and Leisure Export Manufacturers) AEA (Agricultural Engineers Ass.) and Pet Care Trust among others. This guarantees an audience from a variety of professional backgrounds. You build connections with multiple and independent garden centres, high street and department stores, online retailers, DIY retailers, builder merchants, florists, distributors, agents, landscape designers and growers.
Glee 2021
The 2021 edition of Glee received over 300 brands, including more than 100 new exhibitors. The event occurred as a face-to-face exhibition between 14.09.2021 and 16.09.2021 at NEC Birmingham. The rendition marked a successful restart of the event and the presented industries, according to participants.
Glee 2022
Glee 2022 was hosted as a live trade show at the NEC Birmingham between 28.06.2022 and 30.06.2022. The venue did not implement strict Covid-19 safety precautions due to the removal of domestic regulations. The event received over 400 exhibiting companies from 20 countries. More than 180 of them were newcomers. They presented their wares within highlight sections and sub-events such as the Stage, New Product Awards and the novel Fire, Grill & Chill Zone.
Glee 2023
The 2023 edition of Glee featured more than 460 exhibitors from 24 countries. They presented over 200 brands at NEC Birmingham between the dates of 27.06.2023 and 29.06.2023. Similar to the 2022 rendition, the live trade fair did not include Covid-19 safety measures.
Glee 2024
Glee 2024 took place in NEC Birmingham between 10.09.2024 and 12.09.2024. The event was attended by over 260 exhibitors.
