Keep your pulse on fashion trends, whether you are talking about ready-to-wear items or the best in sportswear at ISPO Munich. The international trade fair has been a sensation since its launch back in 1970 and now is even bigger and more stylish than ever.

The trade fair sees a lot of interest from distributors and buyers, looking for the hottest new collection, so your potential to win big with direct sales is high. When we say that ISPO Munich is a big deal, we mean it, since the brand has been successful enough to be brought to Beijing and Shanghai.

You have the entire vocabulary of sports under one roof – Outdoor, Skiing, Boarding, Running, Fitness, Sportswear, Beachwear, Team sports, Soccer, Nordic Sports, Biking, Racket, Triathlon, and Kids.

ISPO Munich is the brainchild of Messe Munich, which also functions as the official host, along with the generous support and sponsorship from VDS (Verband Deutscher Sportfachhandel) and BSI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel-Industrie) – two noteworthy sports organisations Germany.

Editions arrive early each year, either at the end of January or the start of February. They last for four days in total. Only trade visitors are admitted, and the working hours are from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm. The fourth day closes one hour earlier at 17:00 pm.

If you are not commuting via car to Messe Munich, you can easily rely on public transport to get you there. Between the suburban trains and metro, you are all set for a quick commute.

What Are People Saying?

“We had a fantastic season and a great ISPO Munich. Last year, people said skiing was dead – but the exact opposite is actually the case! The early snow has inspired everybody. It is fun being here. ISPO is extremely important, especially for our international customers. We were able to get nearly every good international customer through the trade fair,” –Hans Taubenberger, CEO at Toni Sailer;

“Of course, trade fairs today serve a different purpose than they used to - when you could derive the financial value of a fair directly from the orders. Today it is about seeing and discussing our customers,” - Martin Nordin, CEO Fenix Outdoor International AG;

“ISPO has created a platform to come together and further develop the opportunities of the digital transformation for retailers and brands. We are back as market leaders to openly and transparently demonstrate our engagement with retailers who see this as a clear opportunity,” Roland Auschel, executive board member at Adidas.
