Texworld & Covid-19
The Parc des Expositions - Le Bourget in Paris will host Texworld's 2022 edition. The event will be held as a face-to-face trade show. Texworld 2022 is scheduled to take place between February 7th, 2022, and February 9th, 2022. Covid-19 safety measures, including a 3G entry policy, will be put in place at the host venue. To gain access, attendants must present papers such as proof of recovery certificates. Such documents must be provided upon arrival in Germany due to new travel bans.
You can expect an assortment of the leading manufacturers and brands to exhibit at Texworld – one of the biggest trade fairs for the textile industry. Texworld specializes in thread and clothing, and the trade has been going on since 1997. Today it exists as a chief meeting point between supply and demand, with markets like East and Central Asia fully represented. Texworld gives you a deep dive into global trends and opens you to new geographic regions. The product portfolio extends to silk, silky aspects, knitted fabrics, cotton fibres, denim, embroidery and lace, trims and accessories, functional fabrics, linen and hemp, prints, shirting, wool, and wool blend. That’s the entire value chain under one roof, which naturally attracts the biggest buyers. Therefore, you can be confident that, if you visit the event, you will have the chance to network with high-ranking players in the field of fashion and accessories.
Because the fashion industry keeps an incredible pace in terms of trends, the textile industry keeps up with the tempo, and it is why Texworld is put together twice a year in Paris, France. The fair is staged during February and a second time in September at the Paris Le Bourget. Editions are open for four days as a whole and access is given only to trade visitors. The official organizer is Messe Frankfurt France SAS. Working hours are specified from 09:00 am until 18:00 pm on the first three days, and until 16:30 pm on the closing day. The exhibition centre is located near the busy Le Bourget airport, so there are multiple ways to get to the grounds without having to rent a car. You have bus lines, the RER and the metro at your disposal.
What Are People Saying?
“The show enables me to find solutions for fabrics and materials that are right for me. The work undertaken ahead of the shows for the preselection process provides an overview and saves a lot of time,” said Agathe Coudert, Director at Apostrophe George Rech Paris;
“Texworld Paris “gives an indication of the current situation in textiles and the strategies adopted by major contractors. It’s up to designers like us to interpret them...,” said Lamine Kouyaté, Artistic Director at Xuly Bët;
“Fashion brands and luxury labels right through to ready-to-wear, not forgetting the capsule collections and young designers – all seem to have understood the incredible perspective that the 1000 exhibitors at Texworld Paris represent with the trends for materials and fabrics. A wealth of textile solutions from the four corners of the world to serve the industry and which can be found at a single entry point for the European market” said Michael Scherpe, President & CEO at Messe Frankfurt France.
Audience & Statistics
Let’s examine if Texworld is worth your time and resources to position yourself as an exhibitor? The answer is simple – yes! The attendance data more than supports this. On average, Texworld attracts more than 1700 exhibitors and 29,000 trade visitors – that’s a good ratio that works in your favour. You are also not restricted to the same type of buyers. The professional background of the trade audience is diverse – textile retailers and wholesalers, chain stores, department stores, trading companies, agents, designers, sales representatives. What’s also advantageous for you is that the main reason they attend Texworld is to make purchases, and roughly 88% of all trade visitors are in some decision capacity. Outside of France, you have the following markets with the biggest presence – Italy, Germany, the UK, Greece, the USA, Spain, China, and the Netherlands.
