WMF & Covid-19
Between 05.09.2023 and 08.09.2023, WMF 2023 will take place as a live trade fair. The hosting location will be the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. To ensure the safety of attendees, the venue will have the latest COVID-19 safety precautions. This will include measures such as attendees needing to maintain a social distance of 2 metres. They must also show before entering the venue documents such as negative test results. The paperwork must also be shown 48 hours before departure for the country.
WMF 2022
The NECC Shanghai served as the hosting location of the WMF 2022, which took place as a face-to-face trade fair. It occurred between 05.09.2022 and 08.09.2022. The 45,000 m2 of event space featured Covid-19 safety measures, such as the social distancing protocol. Over 300 exhibitors and more than 61,000 buyers attended the fair.
WMF 2023
The 2023 edition of WMF was hosted as a live trade fair at the NECC Shanghai without implementing Covid-19 safety measures. THis was due to the country removing its domestic pandemic-related restrictions. WMF 2023 took place between the dates of 05.09.2023 and 08.09.2023 and received on 50,000 m2 over 30 370 participants. This included more than 30,000 visitors and over 370 exhibitors from 8 countries.
