Exhibitions in Lyon, France for Health

Lyon has long been considered the cradle of healthcare in France. It’s cultivated a robust ecosystem that integrates medical research, world-renowned pharmaceutical companies, and cutting-edge startups that’s built on top of centuries-long history. As a region, it stands at the forefront of developments in health and life sciences. The health industry in Lyon is all about collaboration that can be traced across the entire value chain starting with fundamental research all the way to the marketing of healthcare products and services. Lyonbiopôle, an international bio-cluster that unites over 200 stakeholders from both the public and private sectors, forms the beating heart of this ecosystem. This cluster is instrumental in driving forward the region’s health initiatives and supports projects that range from early-stage research to full-scale commercialization. Lyon is also home to the second-largest teaching hospital complex in France, the Lyon Civil Hospices (HCL), which plays a critical role in medical education and patient care. The region's academic strength is further bolstered by the University of Lyon, a major research hub that contributes to the continuous advancement of medical knowledge. In addition to its academic and clinical prowess, Lyon hosts several national and international regulatory agencies, including the French National Agency of Medicine and Health Products Safety (ANSM) and the International Alliance for Biological Standardization (IABS). Back to Lyonbiopôle, the MVP of Lyon’s health industry. The cluster regularly organizes several thematic events that further research and the adoption of new technology. The Immunotherapies & Innovations for Infectious Diseases Congress (i4id) is one such example. Co-organized with MabDesign, this international congress brings together pharmaceutical industries, research laboratories, technology developers, and clinicians to explore the latest advancements in immunotherapy and strategies to combat infectious diseases. The event, which spans two days, offers a rich program of conferences, plenary sessions, and industry presentations.
