Exhibitions in France for Health

France has one of the best reputations in the health industry internationally as it’s home to some of the most renowned medical institutions, cutting-edge research, and highly skilled healthcare professionals. Now, the country is further cementing its status as a global leader in the health industry through ambitious initiatives aimed at stimulating innovation and attracting investment. As of 2022, France’s health industry was the third-largest exporting sector in the country, generating €28.3 billion. France also ranks sixth globally in terms of healthcare investment, driven by both public and private sectors. Central to this growth is France’s thriving HealthTech ecosystem, which creates links between researchers, companies, and healthcare professionals. Supported by major French pharmaceutical giants like Sanofi and Servier, this ecosystem has positioned France as a European leader in healthcare innovation. In 2022, the country attracted the largest number of R&D centers in Europe and was the second-leading nation in Europe for patent filings. A key component of France's strategic vision for the future is the France 2030 investment plan, which allocates €7.5 billion to health sector innovation. This plan is designed to ensure that France remains at the cutting edge of medical research and technology. The objectives are ambitious: producing at least 20 biomedicines domestically, particularly targeting cancer and age-related chronic diseases, and developing future medical devices. Infrastructure development is also a priority under this plan, with the construction of 12 new teaching hospitals and four bioclusters aimed at reinforcing France's research and development capabilities. The Paris-Saclay Cluster is a standout example, serving as a hub for innovation by bringing together academic institutions, pharmaceutical laboratories, and healthcare centers. This cluster plays a crucial role in accelerating the development of new therapies and diagnostic tools, providing a vital link between research and practical application.
