hanseBAU contributes significantly to the home and lifestyle industry in Bremen as a superior procurement platform for residential construction. Trade buyers and end consumers gain equal access to the latest advancements in construction, furnishing, and lifestyle solutions. Held at the Messe Bremen, this event provides an invaluable meeting space for visitors to engage with experts and tailor their home improvement plans to their individual needs. hanseBAU 2024, coupled with the Bremer Altbautage, opened the construction season with remarkable success as it attracted 14,825 visitors. The fair was bustling from the start, with Friday already seeing a high turnout. The fair featured more than 130 lectures and demonstrations, which covered a wide spectrum of topics such as living, insulation, energy saving and old building renovation, and every single one saw full attendance. Response has been enthusiastic as new home owners are looking for ways to embrace greener lifestyles and reduce their environmental impact through the reduction of energy use. A notable addition to this year's event was the introduction of workshops, including a unique Tiny House Workshop hosted by the exhibitor tinyon. This free one-hour session aimed to immerse participants in the principles and fascination behind tiny living. The workshop offered a detailed introduction to tiny houses, which is the embodiment of the minimalist living concept, that took into consideration personal needs through discussions and practical exercises. Participants had the opportunity to share their perspectives and gain insights from Chris & Caro of tinyon during a dedicated question and answer session. The hanseBAU fair does its best to address the growing interest in sustainable and innovative living solutions and stay on top of cutting-edge innovations within residential construction. The fair's success is indicative of a broader trend in Germany’s home and lifestyle market.
