The Most Important Trade Fairs Taking Place This November

All4Pack 2024: November 4th– 7th; Paris, France

Held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc des Expositions, ALL4PACK EMBALLAGE PARIS is the premier event in the packaging, printing, processing and logistics sectors. The upcoming 2024 edition has a new vision and mission, and is set to lead the way in sustainable innovation. ALL4PACK 2024 edition promises to continue the legacy of the 2022 show, which boldly embraced the motto "Lead the Revolution" and was a pioneer in sustainable packaging practices. The hype is real and has been building for the past two years. Organisers now expect for over 1,300 exhibitors and 80,000 professionals to cross the doors of the Paris-Nord Villepinte.

ALL4PACK is known for the depth of its product portfolio, from biodegradable and recyclable materials to energy-efficient production processes. The Start-Up Area will be a key feature, spotlighting inventive solutions from emerging companies aimed at reducing packaging waste and optimizing resource use. It’s the designated space where visitors come face to face with the latest trends in eco-friendly packaging, such as reusable packaging, sustainable production technologies, and digital transformation tools. In addition to a vast exhibition floor, the event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and keynote talks from industry leaders and European opinion-makers.

First launched in 2018, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is an initiative by the Chinese government to promote trade liberalization and economic globalization, with the goal of opening China’s market to the rest of the world. As one of the fastest-growing economies, China offers unparalleled opportunities for global businesses looking to tap into a burgeoning consumer base.

CIIE 2024 delivers on the promise of being a world-class, international event with companies from over 100 countries expected to participate. The Chinese economy, now the second largest globally, presents enormous potential for growth. With its population of over 1.4 billion and rapidly expanding middle class, China is forecasted to import products and services worth more than $10 trillion USD over the next five years.

CIIE 2024 will feature large-scale exhibitions across diverse sectors, including consumer goods, automobiles, intelligent industry, and healthcare. The event will also include supporting activities like supply-demand matchmaking meetings, seminars, and product launches.

Web Summit 2024: November 11th– 14th; Lisbon, Portugal

The MEO Arena in Lisbon is gearing up to host Web Summit 2024 this November. What can you expect? Innovation, networking, and insightful discussions in the tech industry led by some 1,000 investors and 3,000 startups. If there’s one event about venture capital you can go to, then this is the obvious choice. As the organizers unveil the first 20 talks on the schedule, attendees can look forward to a taste of what's to come across the Web Summit stages. The "Startup University" and "New Venture Summit" stages will be dedicated to all things startups and investors, providing deep dives into the current landscape and future trends of the startup ecosystem.

One of the highlighted talks is "404: Funding for Women Not Found," scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, at Startup University. In an industry where funding for women-led startups is often scarce, this session aims to shed light on the challenges and strategies for securing investment. Attendees will explore barriers faced by women entrepreneurs, unlock success stories, and gain practical tips for navigating the funding maze. The discussion features DataSnipper CEO Vidya Peters and Clue Chief Product Officer Audrey Tsang, who will share their experiences and insights on breaking through the funding ceiling.

The automation industry's most anticipated event, SPS – Smart Production Solutions 2024, is all set to celebrate over 30 years of success. Over the course of three decades, SPS has never once stepped down from its throne as a leader in automation. In 2024, 1,200 exhibitors will take over 16 exhibition halls, covering a vast 125,000 square meters of space, among which are Bosch Rexroth AG, Siemens AG, Rockwell Automation GmbH, Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., YASKAWA Europe. Alongside these familiar names, the expo also welcomes a number of first-time exhibitors, eager to introduce their innovations to the world.

A key feature of SPS 2024 will be its four exhibition forums located in Halls 1, 3, 6, and 8. These forums will host expert presentations, panel discussions, and live demonstrations, giving attendees a deep dive into topics such as digital transformation, industrial communications, and safety and security. One of the main highlights is the Technology Stage in Hall 3, organized by the German Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (VDMA) and the German Electro and Digital Industry Association (ZVEI). This content will also be broadcast live via the digital platform “SPS on air”, accessible in both German and English.

METSTRADE 2024: November 19th– 21st; Amsterdam, Netherlands

Last on our list is METSTRADE 2024, the premier exhibition for leisure marine equipment, materials, and systems. The 2024 edition is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever as more than 1,500 exhibitors from around the world have confirmed their participation. They’ll set up shop in 11 halls. From marina builders to superyacht professionals, METSTRADE attracts visitors from over 130 countries, making it the most significant annual gathering for the leisure marine industry.

This year's programme focuses on cutting-edge themes such as emerging technologies, sustainability, and inclusion and accessibility. Attendees can expect a carefully curated series of presentations, discussions, and features designed to address these critical issues shaping the future of the industry.

One of the most exciting developments for METSTRADE 2024 is the integration of The Superyacht Forum into the SuperYacht Pavilion, creating a powerful epicentre for superyacht professionals to engage and collaborate. Additionally, the event will welcome the Yacht Racing Forum to Amsterdam for the first time, bringing fresh energy and insights from this high-performance sector.
